Who can 3D Print?

No matter your field or industry, you can 3D print with us if you have a design in mind you’d like to test out and bring to life, or maybe you’d like to recreate an existing design. No matter the reason for 3D printing, we are here to help.

With the addition of 3D printing, our clients will be easily able to check form, fit and function of their product design while maintaining production and cost efficiencies. Our 3D printed objects are versatile enough to become molds, patterns, customized fixtures and tools.

The Technology

With the installation of the Dimension 1200es Printer, we are able to 3D print designs as large as 10″ x 10″ x 12″ at a time.

Our Dimension SST 1200es 3D printer utilizes FDM (Fuse Deposition Modeling) Technology. 3D models are printed from the bottom up, layer-by-layer with engineering-grade thermoplastics. As the 3D printed objects come off the printer, they can be detached from the printer support without any wait time. Models can be then sanded, drilled or painted as needed.

3D Printing Workflow

File Submission

Before you submit your .STL file to use, ensure that your design is built to be watertight (that there are no unintentional holes in the design of your product). If you are unsure, be assured that our experts will be checking for you once you submit the file.

After your .STL file is submitted, we will preflight it on our end to check for potential issues to ensure your 3D print output is error free and as intended to be printed by design.

3D Printing

Once preflight is complete, your file is sent off to our 3D printer which will print your design from the bottom up using FDM Technology. Once the design has been printed, we remove it from the printer base and are ready to take it to the next step – finishing.

In finishing, we can paint, drill, and smooth out any rough edges. If your design requires assembly of multiple 3D printed objects, we will join them all for you to produce a finished product. Let us know if you require any special finishing and we will take care of it!

Finished Product

Now that your finished product is ready, it will be carefully packaged by our team and sent off to you. Alternatively, you are invited to visit us onsite and pick up your 3D printed masterpiece.
