Have you heard about GlobalShop? Have you ever been to the show?
GlobalShop is the world’s largest retail and visual merchandising trade show, attracting worldwide attendance, from decision makers at major retail stores to agency partners, distributors, designers and more. This year, the show was held March 23rd to 25th at Mandalay Bay Convention Centre in Las Vegas.
Resource Integrated has been exhibiting at the show for a number of years, and this year the hero of our booth was our very own Verde Fastframe™, an SEG (silicone edge graphic) modular and sustainable framing system. In fact, our booth was made entirely of varying sizes of Verde Fastframe! (See above photo) As an exhibitor, we were not disappointed, as we were able to chat with industry experts on current trends and interested buyers for our service offering – especially a number of US clients who wanted to take advantage of an attractive Canadian dollar!
If you walked the show, you would have noticed a few trending technologies, which included SEG (silicone edge graphic) frames and displays, various types of LED screens and displays and last but not least, digital interactive displays that let you experience brands and products like never before. What really stood out to us at the show was the Duggal Visual Solutions booth, which displayed their very own window Media Mesh technology, where graphics on display slowly appear and disappear right in front of your eyes, leaving a see-through mesh window in place.
Overall, we had a great show at GlobalShop 2016, and we’re glad we were amongst the vendors that brought to the scene new emerging technologies such as SEG systems.
If you missed us this time, make sure you catch us at the Grocery Innovations Canada Show happening October this year at the Toronto Congress Centre. We’ll also be at EuroShop next spring, the world’s number one retail trade fair, happening in March 2017 in Dusseldorf, Germany.
