Bell set out to promote handset cases at 228 stores across Canada. Our mission was to develop a creative fixture that would accentuate the durability of the cases while making it a self-install unit for store
staff.
After putting each case through rugged testing – including running them over with Tony’s car – we had a eureka moment. This led to much discussion on materials usage and hanging hardware. In the end – RI developed a fixture made of clear and white acrylic with easy to change out graphics and equipped with magnets to attach to the fixtures.
There is no substitute for effective merchandising displays. A simple creative treatment was used that can offer Bell a durable and easy to manage display system. Cases and graphics could be easily replaced and the fixture could be placed in a compact box in the back room. There really is no alternative to the in-store shopping experience.
We were invited to collaborate with the museum in developing display materials that could help convey information and feel contemporary while respecting the institution’s proud heritage.
