Travel More for Customers
In 2016, we travelled thousands of miles across Canada to meet and service our clients, and we are committed to doing the same in 2017. Even in the age of the Internet where e-mailing, multimedia messaging, and face-to-face phone calls have become the norm, we still believe in the tried and true method of meeting our clients in person. It’s like the saying goes “seeing is believing” and what better way to really get behind a customer’s needs than by seeing it for yourself. Going the extra mile, is a part of our everyday vocabulary. In doing so, we are inspired by the knowledge our clients share, which can sometimes get lost in translation through text, email, or phone. Whether visiting a small retailer or big corporation, or even the mall, our commitment to providing excellent customer service is always top of mind. Our dedicated team members will continue to make house calls to meet with clients, visit shops, and walk the retail floors, to get a firsthand look at the frontlines, helping us to better integrate ourselves as an extension to each of our clients’ teams.
Develop Healthier Business Solutions
Our philosophy at RI—aside from providing exceptional customer service—is healthy solutions to help our customers find alternative, environmentally sustainable and eco-friendly solutions to reduce their carbon footprints. One of the ways we have accomplished this feat is through our patented Verde Fastframe, a modular signage system. Manufactured locally in Ontario, the Verde Fastframe is made with repurposed materials and can ship almost anywhere. The frames are completely reusable and can be disassembled for easy storage and transportation. We’re excited about the future to help provide retailers and businesses with an environmentally friendly option for their marketing solutions—the Verde Fastframe.
RI is dedicated to implementing better business practices that benefit our clients and our staff. We promote a healthy work place environment encouraging individuality, creativity, and talent that are highly appreciated and cultivated through collaboration and mindfulness toward one another. From our art director, design team, production experts, to direct mail marketers, printers, assemblers, and installers, everyone plays an integral role in developing the best solutions and project outcomes.
Invest in State-of-the-Art Technology
Perhaps one of the smartest business decisions we made in 2016 was installing a new state-of-the-art 3D printer, the Dimension SST 1200es. This 3D printer has the capacity to print molds as large as 10x10x12 inches, and it uses engineering-grade thermoplastics composites that are environmentally friendly. With this incredible additive manufacturing technology, we can print 3D product prototypes and marketing signage for our clients layer by layer.
RI is also leading the path with a first-to-market retail management software that is specifically designed to simplify the inherent and time-consuming administrative tasks that are involved in realizing small to large scale retail projects. We use this exclusive software to track all of our clients’ projects and ensure that our work is accurate, detailed, and completed within a reasonable agreed-upon timeline. Our clients have the ability to view up-to-the-minute progress on their projects and they will be automatically informed of any challenges we face along with successes regarding their projects.
Be More Involved in the Community
In 2016 the RI team collected much needed food and other goods for the Richmond Hill Food Bank. We are excited to continue working on these efforts in 2017, and will also work to support other community efforts and causes that are important to us. On a more personal note, the RI team came together during a time of personal challenge to help a close colleague whom was recently diagnosed with cancer. The entire team worked to collect much needed funds to help pay for treatment and support them through this difficult time.
RI is also a proud supporter of The Michael “Pinball” Clemons Foundation, Free the Children, The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Right to Play, and the Association of Registered Graphic Designers.
