Bell Canada wanted to showcase freestanding digital displays outside their mall locations, yet running visible power cords across high-traffic areas would not only create a safety hazard but also compromise the clean, modern retail environment.
Resource Integrated engineered a breakthrough solution: a freestanding display powered by a built-in rechargeable battery. By removing the need for external cords, we delivered a first-of-its-kind digital display that combined portability, safety, and style. This innovation gave Bell the flexibility to position eye-catching displays anywhere within the mall environment—without limitations.
The prototype launched at Bell Canada's Square One location in 2019, where it immediately captured attention and drew positive feedback. Following its success, Bell Canada approved a broader rollout, expanding to more than 85 stores with over 150 units across Canada. This project set a new benchmark for safe, portable, and impactful retail digital signage.
