Precision in Every Layer

Bell Canada

Streaming Bundle Acrylic Display

Retail moves fast, and displays need to perform flawlessly under pressure. For Bell’s launch of its latest streaming services, the project required more than standard production. It presented unique challenges, from double-sided printing on clear acrylic to precise front-to-back alignment. In close collaboration with Bell Canada, we translated their concept into a high-precision retail display built to perform consistently across busy environments.

The Bell Streaming Bundle Acrylic Display is designed to work seamlessly in any retail setting. Each unit showcases Bell’s featured streaming partners - Netflix, Crave, and Disney Plus - in a clean, modern layout. With three size options (8 in., 11 in., and 16 in.), the display fits easily into store fixtures and counter spaces, making it a versatile visual merchandising tool for national campaigns.

To date, more than 1,400 units have been produced and rolled out to Bell, Best Buy Express, Glentel, and Staples locations across Canada, supporting a cohesive retail marketing strategy at scale.

Every step of production required careful planning and precision. One of the first challenges was warping. Even though they appear uniform, each acrylic sheet arrived with subtle size variations that aren’t noticeable at a glance but become obvious once printing on both sides. To ensure perfect consistency, we standardized the material by cutting them to an exact size as the first step before the production process began, creating a uniform foundation for the entire run.

Printing on clear acrylic required a specialized approach to achieve full colour density. On a transparent surface, CMYK ink alone appears washed out because light passes through it. Using our large-format Agfa Anapurna H3200 Ciervo, we applied a white–CMYK–white–CMYK sequence, applying white ink as an opaque base on both sides before printing colour. These white layers block light, prevent show-through, and give the CMYK inks a solid surface to anchor to, resulting in crisp, vibrant, fully opaque graphics on both sides of the display.

Alignment was equally critical. Because the graphics were double-sided and the acrylic is transparent, no bleed could be applied, making precise measurement essential. A slightly shifted, rotated, or skewed graphics could compromise the display, so careful preparation, controlled handling, and multiple test prints were required to achieve perfect registration and flawless results.

Precision and scalability guided every step of the project. Our team managed the entire process in-house, refining the client’s concept, laser cutting, custom fabrication, double-sided printing, packing, and coordinating the national rollout. Keeping everything under one roof ensured stronger quality control, faster turnaround times, and a smooth nationwide deployment.

This project highlights the strength of our end-to-end production model. With over twenty years of Print & Beyond experience, we combine collaborative design, custom display fabrication, advanced printing techniques, and coordinated logistics to deliver high-impact retail solutions that maintain brand consistency across every location.
